The cafe is an uninspired stereotype of the local cafe; without atmosphere, but replete with an indifferent server who appeared put out by our presence. However, the place advertises the best fried chicken in Missoula. The regular dinner included 1/2 a chicken, fries, and dill pickle. The atmosphere is not great but the chicken is very good. Slightly on the greasy side but that is what you can expect from chicken and fries. more

We stopped at Double Front Cafe for dinner the night before graduation at the University. The double front is functional, but not cozy by any stretch of the imagination. Honestly, this is the best fried chicken ever!!! But if you are not up for fried chicken there are so many other things on the menu.
