Unlike Las Vegas, Reno is not blessed with great restaurants. The exception (and it's a big exception) is the 4th Street Bistro. By "worth the ride" I mean that cabs in Reno are a bit on the expensive side. It costs about $60 round trip from 4th Street Bistro to our Sparks hotel. But, we loved this restaurant. My husband and I are in Reno for the first time for a conference. We visited 4th Street Bistro last night based on Trip Advisor reviews. The food was fantastic, and the service was both friendly and professional. We'll be in Reno just two more days, and we plan to go back to 4th Street Bistro tomorrow night with friends. more

My husband and I went to Reno for business and on our last night there, called ahead to the restaurant and made reservations based on reviews. The service was outstanding and the food was superb. It was a very quiet, romantic dinner for the two of us and truly was the highlight of our trip. more
