Savarios is a regular staple in my diet, and I highly recommend it to any pizza/calzone connoissuer! The dough and sauces used are fresh and homemade. The food is non-greasy. The pizza-by-slice is prepared thin-crust, with just the right crispness, cheese-to-sauce and crust-to-topping ratios. Short hours, a tiny store, but simply the best pizza in the area. We lived in Portsmouth for several years before discovering Savarios (it is the smallest store front in town) and now it is a near weekly treat. Fresh topping, whole olives, huge mushrooms, spicy pepperoni. Flatbread in Portsmouth makes great unique pizzas but Savario's is a traditional pizza... more
