This place is closed for good. I didn't care for it when it was open and found the food to be average, but it doesn't matter anymore!
So sorry to see this place closed down. Economy is hurting so many people. This was posted on their website: "After 18 years of outstanding service to you, the most dedicated customers, Melange Café has closed its doors forever. With a challenging economy and a year and a half of ongoing Tanner Street construction, Melange has struggled to maintain its... More
My wife and I love coming to Melange because its very quaint with great food and service at a great price. The New Orleans style food menu boast real flavor especially if you like spices. This is a must do if you are in South Jersey. Worth the wait!
I have lived in Burlington County for many years and have heard about Melange's. So finally we decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant for dinner it took awhile before someone came from the back to seat us. We ordered the Pan Seared Scallops for an appetizer. That was very tasty. For our meals we ordered fried... More
Great atmosphere and good food if you like it spicy. I normally am not a big fan of spicy food but this was so good I could not stop eating, the Jambalya was excellent, very nice decor, and great service
Chef Brown goes out of his way to provide you with the best in creole cuisine. I generally visit the restuarant for special ocassions. One of my favorite appetizers is the crab meat cheese cake. I highly recommend the restuarant for its mouth watering, delicious food and, quite atmosphere. The restuarant is located in historic Haddonfield, NJ.
I would have really liked to give 3.5 stars, but its not an option. The service was worth 4 stars, the food 3.5. We made a reservation for 8:15. (The time they offered) we arrived on time. They were packed! We ended up waiting 30 minutes for a table. In their defense a table was offered (afer 20min) that was... More
My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. When we ate here last night with two other couples, everyone raved over the food. And these people are foodies! The rack of lamb was prepared to perfection, as were the veal medallions, filet mignon, and fried chicken entrees. My husband ordered the scallop appetizer which was delectable, and the soups (sausage... More
Met a friend there for lunch. The food was delicious. It's very hard to walk in for dinner so make sure you have your reservations. We are now regulars. I love the food and the atmosphere. It's perfect for a business lunch. They are very attentive. The Seafood Quiche is a hit!!!
This is such a local treasure. Loved the scallops in bacon and soup. The kitchen is super clean and since it's on Tanner Street, the pace is a little slower. Great place for mom and daughter to catch up, or for date night. Chef Joe Brown is local celeb.
