The place is stone's throw from Hoboken station and you could never go wrong with their Roti Kanai. Recommend.
One of the best Malaysian cuisine options for a vegetarian like me!!! Service is not bad either. Good value for money.
Got the lunch "special". The chicken was like rubber. The mango sauce was equivalent to orange glue. I ate some of the rice and that was it. I walked back to the restroom and there was a man and women who worked there, sitting down with a tub of raw chicken resting on a chair and they were skewering it... More
This restaurant is located right next to the famous Carlos Bakery. 2 blocks a way there's a nice park where you get a good view of NYC. I went to this restaurant during lunch time. They have Lunch special menu with reasonable price and many choices. Their Roti Canai is the best one I've ever had. Must try their Satay... More
It was my first time for Malaysian cuisine, although my daughter has been to Satay a few times. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, which was similar to the Thai version, with a sauce that was a little sweeter, and it was a fair-sized portion. The wait staff was very efficient and got us in and out quickly (our choice), which... More
super fast, outstanding food, great service, very affordable. I wasn´t expecting this type of service for what you pay and got one of the best asian meals I´ve had in NYC and very fast. I definitely will be back. Any of the lunch menu options will make you want to order more because it is so good! Cross the river... More
Cozy restaurant with authentic Malaysian. Try items from the "Fruit" section, as they're unique to Malaysia and you don't find them elsewhere (a lot of the dishes otherwise resemble Thai). Portions are not huge, but very tasty and prices reasonable for the NY area. The restaurant has great fruit drinks but serves no alcohol. You are welcome to bring your... More
The fried rice dish was delicious and I loved the coconut custard in actual coconut. The service is prompt and friendly.
visited Thursday August 16. Drawn to their "lunch specials" menu outside their restaurant while waiting for my family to exit Carlo's bakery (Carlos' is a waste don't go). Anyway, family and I proceeded inside and were immediately seated. Once we submitted our order, literally our entrees arrived in about 5 minutes. I had the curry spare ribs, very good, my... More
We had dinner here a few nights ago. We travel to Malaysia a lot, this is the closest place to get the Malaysian food in NJ. The satay beef was excellent, and we loved the peanut sauce. The hanai chicken is good too and so as the rice. The fried noodles was a bit salty though. We love to come... More
