We went and the place was closed. Double checked the hours said it should be open. I’m guessing out of business. I’m not sure what’s up with it.

I don't know who wrote the "Don't go here" review but they couldn't have been in the place I visited regularly. When traveling I made it a point to visit and living here it is a favorite for myself and friends. I have always liked...the food and beer - especially the beer. When visitors come in it is a favorite place to take them and let them sample all the beers on tap. I miss them since the fire and can't wait for them to come back.More
Friendly staff, terrific service, great food and craft beer! Prices very reasonable. A little too chilly for the outside patio but it would be great in warmer weather. Definitely worth a visit.
Big shaded patio with lots of ceiling fans, great food, craft beers and company, ample parking, family, large party and dog friendly with romantic corners... What's to say. They've got it dialed in.
Even though the establishment wasn’t very busy I waited over an hour for a burnt burger with an unmelted hunk of cheese and would’ve waited longer for the re-fire. Left without getting my order but I was hungry after this experience so I stopped by...Taco Bell and had a more satisfying experience even though I’m not a fan of Taco Bell. Low on my list of restaurants. Beer was mehMore
Staff so helpful and nice. We came from Scotland and every time we came in they all made us so welcome. If I lived here I would never be away!
This little microbrewery was the first in town and once THE place for locals, but over the years it has gone downhill. The beer is sour and most locals will tell you, "if it ain't fried, don't eat it," unless you want to spend the...next day hovering around the restroom. A recent visit proved nothing has changed, except for the worst.More
This place was hopping on a Friday night. Green Chile heaven. Lots of home brew selections. Crowded on the patio and inside. Food was big and very good. Friendly service. This place could use some color on the inside to warm it up. Maybe find...art in the walls. Very drab atmosphere. All ages friendly.More
Used to be a great place but now service is horrible and the food has gone down hill. The waitress had an attitude and the nachos which used to be the best tasted terrible and cold
I was craving nachos, in town visiting my family when I saw this great picture of nachos from High Desert!! It'd been years since I'd visited High Desert from when I used to live in Las Cruces. I was not disappointed!! I really enjoyed their...nachos and their beer flight was on point. Great service too!More
Great selection of in house brewed beer. Very good quality brewer. A nice atmosphere with locals of many professions(professors, attorneys, physicians, plumbers, students, etc., etc. Easy place to have conversation with a table of ten. Very welcoming place by staff and customers. A favorite.
Pulled into town Sunday afternoon looking for a local place open to get a decent meal and cold craft beer. High Desert Brewing popped up on my search. Glad to stop by. Great craft beer selection, friendly staff, and variety of tasty food. I had...the green chile cheesburger. Cooked just right and it complemented the beer or was it the beer complimented the burger? Guess I'll have to go back and make a decision!More
Good food choices, good beer choices and good service. Outside eating permits smoking so we had to hurry out on one breath when we left. Price was reasonable.
Lots of burgers, quesadillas, and sandwiches. Nice selection of beers, a number on tap. I had a Ruben sandwich with fries. Both were very good.
This is one of my favorite places to get a beer and a green chile cheeseburger. In my opinion the best burger in town. Their nachos with everything on them are a second favorite too; the extra large can feed 6 adults no problem. The...beers are fantastic Peach wheat, Nut Brown Ale, Porter, and Stout. A hidden gem for sure.More
