Long ago I lost count of all the restaurants that have come and gone during the years I've been passing through Taos often (and living there for a while). Michael's is always there, always good, a favorite with locals as well as tourist. The flavors so unique to Northern New Mexico are at their best here. more

There is no reason to go ANYWHERE ELSE for breakfast, while in Taos. Simply the best......food wise, and value wise. How do they stay so consistent over SO MANY YEARS? Kudos to the owner/staff. more

Though full of tourists, Michael's Kitchen manages to seat and serve everyone efficiently and the atmosphere was really laid-back and low-key. The food was inexpensive and tasty. more
