Uncle Jack's is a pretty good steakhouse, but frankly is a bit pricey for its locale and average quality steaks in comparison to Luger's and others. It's worth a try, though, if you are dining in Bayside and want to drop a few hundred bucks on a special occasion. Unlike others, I found the service there to be pretty good. more

Went to Uncle Jack's for our anniversary dinner. We had Filet Mignon steak and a cold seafood platter. The steak was excellent as was the asparagus (although just the asparagus was $10). The food is great and probably the best steak in town. However, the restaurant is small, noisy and the bar crowd flows over intot he dining room. With all that said, deal with it. The food is great. more
