My husband & I ate here in early October, the day of the tie-breaker game between the Twins & the Tigers. Everyone was really into the game which created a nice atmosphere. We had good food at a reasonable price and they had some good local beer on tap (Ommegang). Place closes at 9. In the basement below Tunnicliff Inn right downtown. more
This is a charming/funky place with good food. The prices are fine and the service is good. It is between casual and a little dressy. more
The Pit is a hidden gem in cooperstown, tucked away under the Tunnicliff Inn. The place is very nice, the food is wonderful and I must say they have the friendliest staff that we found during our stay in Cooperstown. Everyone who was there was super friendly, quick to refill your drink and ask you how your stay has been.... more
I had the opportunity to eat at at "The Pit" several times over two trips this year. I was pleased each time with the service, and especially with the quality of the food. The Pit is almost as much bar as restaurant, but don't let that fool you. more
