Had the coconut shrimp with Red Curry slaw appetizer, $12.95. For three shrimp, it was a little pricey. Pork chop special in BBQ Chipotle sauce, $26.95 was tasty and juicy. Salmon with wasabi mustard sauce, $22.95, was some of the best cooked salmon I've yet to have. Would definitely come back, just a little disappointed with the price. more

We had a fabulous lunch at the Yum Yum Shack, which is just a bit south of Cooperstown on Route 28. It's conveniently located between the Fly Creek Cider Mill and Ommegang Brewery if you are doing the Cooperstown Beverage Trail. The Pesto Shrimp Salad and Key Lime Pie dessert were great! Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended! more

The Penguin (ice cream) recommended we try this place out. What a nice surprise! Fresh and adventurous! Salads, soups, crabcakes all wonderful and served well. Not your boring restaurant! more

We stopped at the Yum Yum shack as we traveled through the Cooperstown area. The food was very tasty and fresh - especially the salads. The service was very good as well. I was quite surprised to have our waitress greet us outside in fact as we approached the place. I'm sure we'd stop again when in the area. more

I was in Cooperstown, NY for week #1 2009 of dreamspark. My first day that I had a break in between games, I took my daughter to the Yum Yum Shack b/c it was close to Dreamspark and I didn't know my way around yet. BEST FOOD I HAD THE WHOLE TRIP! We had the best meal of our 10 day trip to Upstate NY at the Yum Yum Shack. We had the scallop and sesame noodle appetizer, the pesto shrimp with goat cheese and artichoke appetizer and the filet mignon. We are very fussy and found all to be superb! We sat on the outdoor covered porch on a rainy night... more

I visited the restaurant prior to the busy season and ended up having a meal to myself. The staff was very friendly and the meal--Chicken McKinley--was phenomenally good. more

The Yum Yum Shack was not so yummy! The place is cute and the people are super nice. However, the food was not up to par. We are used to great places to eat and fresh seafood. The mussels were tasteless and the salmon was raw. The sauces were too heavy and overpowered the dishes. Try a different place... more
