Several months ago I wrote of a disappointing visit. Walked by the East End on Saturday and see that it's closed. I feel vindicated.
We have had some nice meals and that is why we stopped in tonight. Ordered drinks, but found out that wife's choice, Blue Moon, was not available. We each ordered the pot roast sandwich. Oh dear, that is no longer available on the menu. So wife ordered roast beef on weck and I ordered a Texas burger. If you aren't... More
Travelers beware--this place is cash only! The service is slow. The food is good. When the bill came, I was shocked to see that they had charged us $2 a glass for tap water! This is not NYC! This is East Aurora, for goodness sakes! We have not been back--even though we had previously enjoyed going for the live bands... More
We had lunch here on a winter afternoon. The beer selection was interesting and the menu acceptable. There are mainly sandwiches and burgers - lots of burgers. Food was okay to fine. My husband quite liked his turkey club. And my burger was pretty good. But the restaurant was very dim on a winter day and COLD! In addition, even... More
Stopped by in a friday night for a fish fry. Fish was good - but the sides were flavorless. Cole slaw had too much vinegar, macaroni salad had no taste at all and the german potato salad was floating in grease. Looks like a nice enough place have a beer or sit on the patio in the summer, but wouldn't... More
Food is good tavern fare, super friendly staff & chef. Bar great, love to throw peanut shells on floor.
Sat outside, ordered, brother had a beer, sister in law got her salad and then we sat there for one hour and 15 minutes. When we started questioning the waitress she said ten more minutes. Then a very, very rude man who seemed to be in charge told us if we had ordered something like chicken fingers we wouldnt have had to... More
Overall, the food and service was average. The place is rather small and does have an outside seating. My spouse had the East End burger with Buffalo Bison beer and enjoyed it. I had the Pull-pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. Both meals were acceptable. I noticed that there was no apparent way for handicap patrons to get into the... More
Dive bar. Smokers patio outside. Rude lazy male bartender. Horrible music. Under age drinkers. Dont waste your time or money.
After reading some of the reviews after the fact, I find it hard to believe we were at the same establishment. Our experience however different and very pleasureable. After several hours of visiting Vidlers 5 & 10 which I find interesting is not listed here on Tripadvisor, my GF and I looked for a place to eat within walking distance.... More
