one of my top two favorite pizza joints in new york for a pie (the other: Grimaldi's). the quality of the mozzarella cheese is simply unparalleled. definitely worth the trip out to forest hills. more
I fell in love with thin "NY" style pizza while in New Haven, and rated Sally's and Pepe's above the tops in NY, which I considered Arturo's, Johns, Grimaldi's and Tontonno's. When you can´t get to Grimaldi´s this is the next best thing... dare I say may even be better. I definitely like the environment a whole lot more - much more relaxed than G´s. I also really liked the white pizza - but you can´t let it go cold. Yummy crust..... though not necessarily my fave more

disappointing... after reading many a positive review, we headed out to queens... the pizza was simply not worth the (manhattan to queens) trip. the crust was dry toast-dry, flavorless, and over-charred. the sauce was far too acidic -- not at all suited to the pizza. the mozzarella was good, if lacking a bit in salt. the decor was drab. and... more
I have never ate inside, just order pick-up. I really like their red/white pizza and the tomato basil. Decent pizza for sure! more
