After have no luck at all with restaurants in the Old Forge area, we stopped at Buffalo Head on the way home. What a phenomenal restaurant. Food was out of this world. We dined at the Buffalo Head Restaurant twice recently 7/2008, both times we were extremely satisfied. The portions were very generous. A trip to the Adirondacks is NOT complete unless you make a dinner stop at Buffalo Head. Buffalo Head has for many years been known fantastic meals.
