I drive by Mel's Crow's Nest in Getzville, NY every day on my way home from work. I decided to try having a fish fry there last Friday with my husband to satisfy my curiousity about the corner bar/ restaurant. Big Mistake! I have been to Mel's Crow's Nest numerous times. The fish fry I believe is one of the best in the area. This is a small neighborhood bar and restuarant, it is a old building with not much appeal on the outside or inside, but it is the food and the people which make this dining experience worth remembering.
