We went to this restaurant at the recommendation of the concierge of the High Peaks resort. At dinner, in a restaurant that was empty except they had a large party upstairs, the service was horrid. Good food, not great, and the price was way too high for what we received. The place seemed very clean and had a nice atmosphere. If the price were a bit lower, we would give this place 4-stars. more

We arrived for diner and drinks. Were seated by, I believe, the man that owns the place. Rude! Took the waiter forever to come over. Ordered 2 drinks, took forever. Ordered a bottle of wine. My husband and I dined here for Supper recently. Our server was excellent. We ordered our steak/seafood with special cooking instructions and all was perfect. We would definitely return on our next trip to Lake Placid. more
