Sphinx is ideally placed to provide excellent views of the Caldera and famous sunset as seen from Fira town, over the old port. Having called a few days beforehand to reserve a table "right at the front" was most dismayed to be placed further back. Apparently "At the front" doesn't actually mean this, they seemed to have the front tables... more

Every time we visit Santorini dinning at Sphinx is a must. The food is outstanding, the service is excelent, and the view is out of this world. This year we were lucky enough to view the Volacano festivitis from the Spinx terrace. Thanks Joulia for a wonderful dinner. more

This was the first resturant we went to on our first night. What an amazing sunset we saw! We started out with Fava (a traditional for Santorini) was outstanding. My husband had the Fousille with chicken, which he thourghly enjoyed. We actually went there 2 other times and each time the food and staff was execellent! more

We ate in this restaurant in September, for us the meal was cold, pricey and forgettable, would nt bother with the restaurants on the edge of the Caldera you are just paying for the view, much better restaurants around in the side streets,try Dionysos in Atlantis much better value and good fresh food more
