I have never had good service here, which is disappointing because their food is SO good. When I lived in Boone, I'd always get the Guacamole Tempeh Melt as take-out because it was so good and I knew I wouldn't have to deal with the service. I don't eat meat unless its hormone free and this place has an awesome Kobe hormone free cheeseburger that rocks! However, I wish they'd thow some sweet potato fries or a salad on the side. It seems pretty cheap to just serve a burger on a plate! more

One of the best, inexpensive places in Boone. Always fresh veggies, and tastefully prepared meals. Often slow response from the tiny kitchen, so don't go if you are on a timed schedule. I've never had a poor meal here--everything has always been fresh and delicious. more

We asked a local for vegie food and pointed us this way! Great creative dishes that are so tastey...we plan on visiting Boone next summer for more Coyote Kitchen! They have someting called "boats" and the mixture of food is outstanding! This is a must try for any artistic type! more

"Caribbean and Southwest Soul Food" is the menu description of the restaurant's food. They have ego friendly food and a vegetarian and vegan menu. My husband I love the Kobe beef tacos and the many kinds of sausa. The chicken and fish tacos are also good. more
