Macado's is one of our regular stops on our trips to the area. The food is fantastic.....my only problem with it is choosing what to eat from their EXTENSIVE menu.....the prices are great, and they regularly run drink specials......one of which includes pitchers of my favorite beer, Dos Equis. I recommend Macado's wholeheartedly! It's not "fine dining", but it's great... more

Great place to grab a beer and a sandwich. Huge sandwich menu and great appetizers. If you catch it on the right nights they have some great specials. more

This is the place to go if you are in the mood for a great sandwich.Located in downtown Boone Macado's offers a warm, "Pub" like atmosphere serving pitchers of beer and an extensive menu. Bring an appetite because the sandwiches are huge! more

My husband and I love to get away to the Blowing Rock and Boone area whenever we get a chance. We always go to Macado's to eat after a full day of being up in the mountains. Everyone is always so friendly and the food is great, no matter what you order. We have had a variety of there different... more
