Being a college town Boone has it's share of 'funky' eating places, but Black Cat Burrito is one place you should not miss. A menu with a wide variety of burritos that are different from what you would expect. "Ragin' Cajun, Zorba the Greek, and Don't be a Jerk" are some of the names you'll see on the burrito list... more

The burrito was fantastic - I chose the flour burrito with cheese, black beans and rice with a mild salsa. I liked the way that we chose the various options when ordering at the counter. My son had the burrito with steak and red beans which was a large portion and very high quality. The atmosphere is informal, and the... more

Food was great and a good price. I particularly enjoyed watching the 2 cooks belt sing along to music my "Journey" and "Chicago" while dancing in the kitchen. These boys clearly love what they do for a living, and have fun while doing it. That alone would make me come back! happy employees = higher revenue. I wish more business... more

Awesome, huge and unique burrito's. This is NOT a Mexican restaurant. I like the "Don't be a Jerk" burrito with pineapple and jerk seasoning! more

Fresh food at a good price. Locals and college kids alike enjoy the high country ambience found in this local owned burrito joint. Try a "Bloke" or a "Chicken Wing" and don't forget the Queso and chips. Not to be missed!! more

I love this place! If you like corporate restaurants (Ruby Tuesdays, Olive Garden, Applebee's etc) then stay away. But if you want to visit a unique restaurant with great food this is it. Many of the dishes have an ethenic flair (Thai me up Burrito, Tokyo BLT, Zorba the Greek etc.) One of the reviewers said it was pricey but... more

This place rocks! It's a College Town Dive Restaurant. If you're looking for a joint with a snooty brand label crowd - '...walk on by.' Rack your bike outside; and head thru the door for Good food, Cold beer, and Excellent Nachos! --Ben more

Walked in and left. The ambiance was not appealing. It smells when you walk in. Just dark and smelly. more

I loved the food at Black Cat, and I loved the atmosphere, but the prices were WAY TOO MUCH for a college town. I paid over 10 for a quesidilla, b/c I wanted several toppings. You have to pay for each topping you add, so this can become expensive very quick! I do love the food and highly recommend it... more
