Despite its unassuming location in a strip mall, this is a gem of a restaurant, a real boon (pun intended) for our small university town. The white tablecloth atmosphere and fine service are several cuts above all other restaurants in Boone, proper, except perhaps Vidalia. I've eaten here quite a bit--both for intimate dinners and for wining and dining job... more

The Bistro is one of the best restuarants in Boone. Fabulous soups and wonderful menu that has something for everyone. The prices have gone up lately, and the salad is no longer included which makes the price jump even further. In these economic times, customers need a bit of a break.
