We went for beer, football and bar food. The hot wings were super hot and delicious! A lot of beer selections. Friendly service.
Bar (& appetizer) hopping on July 4th was difficult as a lot of places were closed for the holiday. We ended up here at Devine's, a place we've previously been, mostly to watch Duke BBall games with a large crowd. We stopped for a beer and a light dish and settled on a plate of wings with teriyaki sauce, along... More
I did not really think the food was all that great and the service is quite slow. We went there out of necessity as all of the other restaurants and bars were closed for July 4th. I do not think that we will be going again.
We love the burgers, came back and tried the chicken wings and steak sandwich, both of which were terrific. We haven't a bad meal yet, but will say the service is sometimes slow. Don't go in a hurry for a weekday lunch, but we really enjoy the place.
My wife and I stopped in here because The Fed was packed and we had to get something quick. We were in on the first Friday of March Madness and the place was pretty quiet. She got a turkey sandwich and I got a grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. Both were OK, but nothing exceptional. We weren't expecting exceptional,... More
I love buffalo wings, and I am always keeping my eyes open to see if there are some great wings out there I haven’t yet tried. When I had heard that Devine’s claimed to have the best wings in the triangle, I knew I had to find out for myself. My friend Mark and I went to Devine’s for lunch... More
Just left Devine's restaurant in Durham after eating some wings. Phenominal. Extra Crispy and teriyaki. Not only that I barely took a sip of my beer and the wings were there. That's Customer Service with a Capital C
I have had wings all across the US and No place beats Devine's for consistant, large, crispy wings. When you love wings and you go to one place often it is about the WIngs being dependable! These wings are always spot on! They have the right heat, the right size (HUGE) and are CRISPY the way I like them. I... More
Pointed out the roach on the bar crawling under my plate of wings. No big deal, got no response. Workers just turned away. Will never set foot in the place again.
My family loves the angus beef burgers on delicious brioche buns--the buns are the icing on the cake! It is a bit dark and loud, but a friendly place to watch a game. Lots of big TV's. Service is a bit slow, though. As long as you're not in a rush, it's a good place for a burger in downtown.
