We ended up with a cranky wait staff. Took forever to get soda refills. The food was OK but for the cost of the meals there are many better places on the Outer Banks to chose from. Out of 4 restaurants we ate at I have to say this was the worst. Place also felt very small and cramped. more

The food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. Nice beer selection too! We went with the mexican-type entrees and were very pleased with the food. Compared to other choices along the Outer Banks, this was above average and we could definitely visit again. more

We visited Chilli Peppers while on our honeymoon and it was by far the best meal we had. Everything was perfect. It's definately our favorite place to eat. more

A vacation on the Outer Banks isn't complete unless I stop by Peppers! Eaten here 20+ times and have never been disappointed. Local vibe...super chill. Sunday Brunch is a must if you like Bloody Marys and Tapas in the fall is something to look forward to! more

Chilli Peppers offers local seafood in creative and tranditional ways. My husband had the fish tacos, which were excellent. I had the tuna sandwich which was good, but my salad was very good. Okay, so truthfully, I have no idea if people who live nearby actually eat at this restaurant but when I visited on a recent trip to the Outer Banks, there were many more cars from North Carolina in the parking lot than cars from out-of-state. Seemed like a good sign to me, especially when I noticed people in work attire... more

The downside of a small place is that it is hard to seperate the smokers from the non-smokng area. The smoke was so bad in the non smoking area that it completely ruined our meal which was a shame since the food was very tasty. Even my young kids were commenting on how bad the smoke was.
