The place we were staying recommended this place. This was the second restaurant they recommended that we went to. We won't be going to any more. I think in NC you have to judge a BBQ place by their pork. Pigman's was average at best. French fries were good. more

Very pleasant surprise to find pretty authentic eastern NC barbeque at Pigman's in KDH. We've visited the Outer Banks for years but had never stopped at Pigman's, and the q was good to great. The menu is good for BBQ. Most of the staples. Food was good. They ran out of catfish, two days in a row according to the staff (I heard it was good and wanted to try it) Hush puppies are excellent (ask for extra honey butter). I really liked this place. Great food, good prices and great for families. You place your order at the counter and then pick your own seat. The dining area is really pretty nice, much better than I expected! Wood chairs and tables in the center with booths around the edges. Fast service and tasted great. more
