Everyone raved about Joey's so we went there to eat and it was not as good as the Mountaineer, and there was a long wait.... more

We had breakfast here. Planned to go to Joey's Pancake House, but the line was incredible, so we traveled on down the road to the Mountaineer Restaurant and am glad we did. Good food, reasonable prices and a very good waitress. Incredible views. Give it a try. more

We were introduce to The Mountaineer Restaraunt by The Abbey Inn owners where we stayed. The restaraunt is located up the hill from the motel, so being in walking distance made it all the better. The atmsophere was not only great, the view was spectacular. There is a country store at the entrance of the restaraunt, rockers and easy chairs... more
