August 17,2008. I just got back from a vacation on the "Crystal Coast" of North Carolina's 25 mile long Bogue Banks Barrier Island which is just over the bridge from Morehead City via Route 58. The Crab Shack is located in the little town of Salter Path, NC. If you want just simply great seafood, this is the place to go. Everything is good here. We usually have the combination of fried shrimp, oysters and fish. The hushpuppies, coleslaw and "sweet tea" are great too. This is where the locals eat. The restaurant itself is... more
