I wish this place was open for dinner. (It is on Friday's for fresh lobster night.) The breakfasts looked great. GREAT little hole in the wall in Historical Downtown New Bern. If you want to grab a quick sandwich for lunch while you're touring or shopping in downtown, this is the place to go. The Deli is really a smallish diner that seats about 10 people inside. The decor is license-plate, and the service was fine. Only had lunch there so cannot comment on breakfast. Food was average--not bad, not great. A good alternative to a chain, certainly, but if you are looking for a real sitdown meal you might be better off elsewhere.... more
