Our family stopped by for lunch in the middle of the week and we were so pleasantly suprised! The owner and his family charmed us---we even got an architectural tour of the gorgeous old building! The food and the deserts were wonderful and fairly priced. Our 3 children, ages 10-13, felt very comfortable and welcome. more

Baker's Square is one of our favorite places to eat in New Bern. It's not fancy but has great home cooked food. Their pork chop is the best I have ever had. Friendly staff, great food, home cookin' and a pleasant atmosphere all add up to a great value. more
