Food borders that of ruby tuesdays. The bar scene is good, gets crowded during tourist season. Brunch on sundays is pretty on par. The service is HORRIBLE!!! i have visited Ricks numerous times, brunch is the only time i wasn't twirling my thumbs waiting for something. more

The service is great and the restaurant is nice. Both times I went I thought it was so-so. Last night I ordered the catch of the day - mahi mahi grilled. It was overcooked. I think the fried food must be good, I just haven't ordered it myself. They don't have a seafood combo platter which is always my favorite... more

Visited twice in a two-week span. First visit's meals and service were stellar; second visit's meals and service were abyssmal. (We ordered the same things both times!!!) We won't be returning. more

Rick's is one of our favorite places when visiting Topsail Beach. It was originally reccomended to us by one of the locals on our first visit. (our son is a Marine stationed in the area). We go at least once or twice when we stay for a week. The service is excellent. The food is great. You can get anything... more

Rick's Restaurant and Sports Bar is one of the best restaurants in the greater Topsail area in my opinion. The food is fresh and tasty, the place is clean and comfortable, and the service is friendly and efficient. A group of us met at Rick's for supper and had a great time. I ordered the Southwest Chicken with steamed vegetables.... more
