We finally made it to Fat Tony's after living in Wilmington for almost a year, and now we understand what all the raving is about. Their food is good, and their atmosphere is cool. Fat Tony's was directly across the parking lot from our hotel and we got delivery for dinner. My husband had The Special Pizza. I had the Shrimp Calzone and Pesto Stuffed Mushrooms. I love this restaurant. I have eaten there twice when visiting Carolina Beach/Wilmington. I have a family of six and they have out door seating which is great. The food is good and not pricy. Great value. Service was excellant more
This place is awesome. Great food and great beer selection at a reasonable price. I found it to be especially CLEAN. I heard they have a new manager there, but otherwise can't figure out why those other reviews exist. I have heard of former employees being disgruntled....don't know. The pesto sauce is my fav. I would avoid the meatloaf....leave that... more

My family and I ate there last week and in the corner next to our table was rat feces. Needless to say we will never eat there again. more
We love Fat Tony's! We ate here for the first time a couple of years ago after it was recommended to us by a local police officer. (They always know the best places!) We loved it and make it a point to go each time we visit the area (about 2X a year). Good value & GREAT food!! more
