Excellent chicken and homemade ethnic soups. Specialize in Borscht and Knoepfle soups. Restaurant has long-time local ownership and good reputation.
Stopped by while travelling through Dickinson. Haven't had Jack's in years. Was my Grandma's favorite restaurant. Had the knoephla with the three-piece chicken dinner. Prices were decent and the food was phenomenal! Maybe it's just the German in me? Would recommend this over KFC any day!

This place is always a nice surprise when I visit. The food never is a disappointment. These people seem to care that you get really good home-cooked food. clean, friendly--a must visit.

Advice: order the chicken, with the borscht. The knoephlesuppe is good, but the borscht is the signature dish. This is not a trendy place. Most of the people here are from the Dickinson area. Reasonable prices, relax and enjoy.
The chicken and soups my family absolutely loved and throw in their homemade fresh potato salad and coleslaw what more can you ask from a place that's been around for over forty years.
