Passing through Hartley Whitney and stopped at The Lamb for lunch. Ordered the Crispy battered Cod, chips & peas. Was very disappointed! The fish (not sure if it was actually cod) frozen oven cooked type you buy at a supermarket. Definately not crispy. Chips & peas okay but had the addition of a very sad limp looking salad on the... more

We didn't stay at the hotel but ate in the pub while passing through. The menu had lots of choice and after selecting some sandwiches, which were about the £5-£6 mark, they came out and we were more than disappointed. The bread was smaller than Hovis slices, and although they came with chips, the Lamb salts them for you before... more
