I have been several times to dine here and have always been impressed with the welcome and hospitality shown to all their customers. There were three of us just before Christmasand we each ordered a main course. I chose the wild mushroom rissotto which was outstanding. Sadly I could not eat it all as it was a very large serving... We had a private room for our tennis club annual Christmas meal. The service was slick and food wasgood value and very tasty. The upstairs room had a very nice atmosphere, we will certainly book there again. More

A large group recently visited the buck and bell. We were impressed by the venue and prompt service both at the bar and while serving the food. Although we were a group of 17 all our meals were served together and cleared away promptly. Every one had a fantastic time and was raving about the food. The only big downside... More

I have been to the Buck and Bell a few times and went again on Friday evening. When we were taken to sit down I was told our table was upstairs, but I had called beforehand to ask for a downstairs table, as my mother has arthritis, and been told it was no problem. This was, however, sorted out easily... More

After a very busy day, working from home, I was in need of a good old Sunday roast dinner. We decided to go to a regular pub, however, due to the time (17:20) they had run out of all roast dinners. We decided to give the Buck and Bell a try, having heard a good report about the food, from... More

We have eaten here a few times before, a friend in a nearby village recommended it. The pub is located at the back of the village pond on the village green in a proper village which boasts 5 other pubs a canal and a shop. They have retained the old brick and tiles throughout and added some modern touches. We... More

We visited this lunchtime (1/9/2011) having seen a review on Trip Advisor. We live in Birmingham and were meeting friends from Northampton so needed somewhere halfway. We were extremely happy with the locations, decor and cleanliness of this lovely pub. There is a pleasant restaurant as well as a bar area and on the day we visited the sun was... More

Great Beer, Service and Food, mixed and matched between the Blackboard and Sunday Lunch menu, their website is also worth a visit together with Google streetview. Limited parking so take a brolly if it's raining. More

The Buck and Bell is a real asset to this area of Warwickshire. They alwayhave something on the menu to suit all diners, from delicious deli platters for a light lunch to first rate steak, fish, scallops etc. and they seem to source a lot of produce locally. There is an interesting selection of beers and a good wine list.... More
