Renowned for its creative doughnuts, but really not very good. Heavy and doughy. Creativity without execution just doesn't cut it.
This is a very cool doughnut shop with unusual products. They have a great marketing strategy to be sure. But do the doughnuts taste that great? Not so much. But hey, give them a try.
I have gone here many times and loved the food every time! The VooDoo doll is my favorite. However when I recently stopped bye there to pick up a treat for my wife on her birthday, I was more than a little shocked by the all the homeless people camped on the street and sidewalk. This is no longer a... More
Years ago, we saw the episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, where he visited the Portland location, and it definitely stuck out in our minds when we moved to Eugene, and learned that they had a location here! We accidentally stumbled upon it while wandering downtown on a Saturday evening (which seems like an odd time for a doughnut,... More
This place has to be seen to be believed. The menu and donut names are hysterical. You must study the rotating display case before choosing an assortment. The bacon maple bar is legendary and the mango one was a hit.
This place was on our bucket list and it was great! The ambiance was awesome! We bought one dozen donuts and had the clerk pick them out for us and of course we had 2 Voodoo Donuts! We kept them in the fridge and they were still good days after we bought them! If you haven't had their donuts before... More

Maybe the doughnuts are better in the morning, but on a Saturday afternoon, they were chewy and tough--almost as much as the rude, impatient employee who actually snapped, "let's GO!" as we were ordering. Maybe the PDX... More
We learned there was now a location in Eugene and just had to try them. We actually went twice and got a bearclaw and a maple/bacon donut. Both were worth the waiting in line! We were on vacation and gave ourselves a treat!
I had never heard of this place before arriving in Oregon. Everyone was telling us it was a 'do not miss' place to go. The building was small. The doughnuts were good, but didn't live up to all they hype we'd heard. They had some very interesting types that I've never seen anywhere else though!
After seeing this place numerous times on the Travel Channel, we had to check it out for ourselves. Lucky for us, this isn't the original location so we didn't have a wait! It was difficult to make a decision, but the maple frosted, bavarian cream filled Eugene doughnut was what we both chose. DELICIOUS! Not the cheap tasting Krispy Kreme,... More
