Nana's is probably the Newport restaurant I frequent the most. Food is great, service is good. I also love that in addition to Guinness, they typically have English hard cider on draft--a plus for those that do not drink beer. Atmosphere is pretty good. The layout is a bit funky--really two pubs in one--but it is very busy which helps... more

I've been there a few times, the beer on tap is nice but the food is definitely nothing To write home About. If you like gettin drunk and eating fried food in nye beach go here :/ more

Whenever I go to Nana's I get the Reuben. It is superior to any anywhere. They offer some interesting Irish specialties as well which my wife enjoys. They offer 2 bars, darts, and live music on weekends. A nice place to hang out. more

Walked in and we were well greeted... great cheeze burger straight up.... yummmmmmmmmmmmm! Good vibe and good beer. Probably good for the family but I was with my brother who preffers the bar.... more

The atmosphere is happily noisy. The food is overall excellent. The ale is cold. The waitress was terrific. I had the Traigue's Delight; two dinner sausages (excellent) covered with sauteed apples and onions (!), served with peas, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy on the side and a slice of soda bread. That was some of the best Irish food I've ever... more

This is a local hangout and a wonderful example of a very good pub. The food is fine, we've had absolutely no problem with any of the food in multiple visits. We've been here several times and each time had good meals and enjoyed well prepared delicious food. We've tried the "special" corned beef and cabbage -- bangers and mash -- shepherd's pie -- Irish bangers -- Scotch eggs -- several kinds of soups -- and oh yes, the Irish soda bread is just outstanding! My husband and I meet here for lunch on workdays quite often. I used to live in the UK and Nana's serves things that I've missed - like cider on tap and scotch eggs. It's nice. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Great service and a nice peaceful atmosphere. more
