Tried a number of things. Dominant flavors seemed to be garlic, coconut milk and SWEET. Everything had a very sweet overtone. Almost like syrup. Even the halibut had a sweet sauce. After wandering around the Newport Marina looking for a place to eat, we stumbled into the Noodle Cafe. A diamomd in the rough with a great selection of "noodle-based" Asian dishes. Nice atmospshere (with the exception of a few persistent fruit flies), on the water, friendly servers and host and most of all GREAT food. Highly recommended. more

If you want a cozy restaurant with terrific food served in a friendly atmosphere with a view of the water, this is the place. They have a menu so complete that you can go back for weeks and never run out of things to try, but be sure tto try the first because you will be back for more.... more

We went to noodle cafe for lunch last Saturday, it was wonderful, we never had such great food before. I just can't describe how wonderful it is, you really have to try it for yourself to experience such authentic food. more

This tiny restaurant is great! The food is fresh, hot and tasty. The service is excellent. The Noodle Cafe served the best food we ate all weekend. The Chinese/Korean dishes are very authentic and delicious. The bulgogi is fabulous. We also recommend the Jung Bong and the oysters. If I am in this area again I will most definitely come... more
