We visited the brewery with friends and our 2 year old. We had to wait in line for about 20 minutes even though there were 5 vacant tables in the restaurant. The waitress was not particularly friendly and not very attentive, but what made our visit great is that they had a play corner for little kids, and a really... more

We visited for lunch after receiving a hearty recommendation from the welcome host at the nearby Newport Marina and RV park. He touted it as THE BEST fish and chips. When we arrived, there was a party of 6 waiting to be seated in front of us. After 20 minutes, they hadn't been seated, nor had we. No one even... more

My fiance and I came to Newport as part of our up the coast trip honeymoon. We are fans of restaurants that offer local flavor and this was no exception to the rule. Our server was friendly and funny, even though it was her last day before returning to school, and the beer was fantastic. I had the Kobe burger,... more

My family and my sister's family had previously had good food and acceptable levels of service at this brewpub. The last 3 visits have caused us to conclude we will not return. My sister waited over 15 minutes before her family got to order. While we were lucky enough to get our drinks & order rather quickly they sat myself... more

One of several stops for fish and chips. The halibut was had a well seasoned and flavorful beer batter. The chowder was thick and good, but not the best. Prices were ok, but Rogue beers ran about $5.00 a pint. Enjoyable pub style atmosphere with relaxed service. more

This is a gem, the kind of place that you need to spend an entire night doing oyster shooters, trying exotic beers, and near-missing on fights that you would definitly lose against local fishermen. Buying the whole bar a round goes a long way... more

While service was a little on the slow side, the food here was great for a pub. We highly recommend the burgers and greek salad. It is also open a little later than most of the other places in old town Newport. more

Happened upon this place for lunch after a long day touring the coast. Excellent fish and chips. Light batter coating and no grease at all. Beer is great too. We even went back a second time later this week. Just as good and beer too. Kids meals are chepa. Only downside, no rootbeer as they are renovating some of the... more

My boyfriend and I both love Newport. We went there on a trip a year ago and came across Rogue in the old town Newport. We decided that we would stay there our next trip to the coast. We will never stay anywhere else! The Bed and Beer isn't some sleazy hotel room, it's an entire apartment above the brew... more

I've gone to the Rogue twice. The 1st time my family was tired and hungry and we had just finished visiting the Hatfield Marine Science Center. The Rogue is just down the way. It looks like a minature factory. We did not have high expectations, but anything for the kids. We'll, I ordered a sandwich and my husband ordered the... more
