Discovered this restaurant in Civil War era historic building..quaint, serene and conducive to conversation. Tucked away 80 State Street, Doylestown, PA. Balanced menu with spicy and non-spicy Thai-French fusion with fare from veggie to chicken, lamb, steak and lovely seafood dishes. All courses from wonderful soups, to appetizers to entrees served hot and timely by a welcoming, attentive but non-intrusive... more

This was among the more expense Thai meals we have had, and probably the worst. We completely agree with the other reviewers about the pretentious attitude of the servers, and also the poor quality of the food. We had the appitizer sampler, and the dumplings were overcooked and tased more like pasta, and the egg rolls were dripping with oil.... more

Siam Cuisine has four locations in the greater Philadelphia area. My parents have gone to the one located in Newtown PA, which serves just Thai food. They absolutely loved it. With this in mind me and four of my friends planned to go to the one in Doylestown. We made a reservation for 9PM. I was the first one to... more

Every so often my girlfriend and I will meet here to have our usual. Although the food is still very good, the service seems to be getting worse. We usually go on our lunch hour which used to be plenty of time but recently, we've had to wait for a long time or have actually had to track someone down... more

I have no idea WHY whatever they serve they call Thai with french fusion cuisine. It has NOTHING to do with both tastes. We had absolutly tasteless quite expencive experience with the waiter pretending to know anything about food. The size of the portions is small too, so if you want to leave upset and hungry GO FOR IT! more

My experience with Siam Cuisine at the Black Walnut was superlative! I went there to celebrate my graduation from college, and the dining experience at Siam Cuisine did justice to the occasion. From the moment I walked in, I felt personally welcomed and taken care of, and the food was extraordinary. I tasted from the plates of all 8 of... more

We went there about 7:00 on Friday and were only one of two tables occupied; about 8:30 another couple came in. I tell you this so you'll know the kitchen and staff were not highly pressured. The food was mediocre and the service was poor. The cooking is not fusion--either the dish is Thai or it is French or it... more

We went here for my birthday, and the owner surely made this night special for us. It is tastefully decorated, and cozy inside, and the atmosphere is warm. The food was out of this world. The pad thai was perfect and served so beautifully, as was the dessert that we received. The staff was friendly and polite as well. We... more

Our early June 2005 lunch at Siam Cuisine at the Black Walnut was great. The quaint, old inn looking restaurant served delicious tasting lemon grass soup, ginger chicken, and Chilean sea bass in a tamarind ginger sauce. * The $10 soup and main entree special was a great deal. more
