This place makes the best burritos I have ever had. The price is also good and the staff are nice. I ate at least one every day I was in San Juan.
Walking around the streets of SJDS, we were a little hungry and just wanted to grab a snack. We stopped at the Taco Stop and were pleasantly surprised. We just had a couple drinks and an order of Nachos. Food came up quickly - tasted good - was a great amount for the price - and as mentioned in the... More
The food was ok, but my burrito fell apart inthe first bite. The waitress was really nice. Try the chipotle sauce.
I've eaten at Taco Stop probably 15 times. I hate sour cream and I hate tomatoes. Every time I order a burrito I specifically ask for neither of both. And EVERY SINGLE TIME.....you guessed it. They load it up. I speak fluent spanish, and one time I even wrote my order down and they still jacked it up. If someone... More

Makes Taco Bell look like a tv dinner!! Tacos for a snack, burritos for a full meal....fish, beef, pork and chicken....you can't go wrong. Try the Chipolte sauce....
We ate here two or the three times in SJDS. FAST good food. Safe clean kitchen you can see them cooking. The price is right especially when serving 15 people.
How can a place called the Taco Stop fail to understand the basic concept of a taco? This is the worst example of a taco outside of Taco Bell. After bar hopping, I made the mistake of visiting again. I had the quesadilla and it was just as bad as the taco Terrible flour tortillas, pico de gallo without lime... More
We ate here every day we were in SJDS. It's easy, quick, and fresh ingredients. Pretty filling too for the size. Totally worth it and delicious!
Whats not to like about STREET TACOS. Fast, cheap, filling. The thing I felt that sets this place apart is their tortillas. Besides that its super basic tacos, they could be better, but what more do you want for a dollar?!?!
Simple and authentic these tacos were amazing. Served at a street side window, don't worry that they might not be okay for tourists- they all wear gloves and use pure water. You can eat at the small bar top near the window right on the sidewalk for a true Nicaraguan experience. I tried the soft tacos, burrito and pollo (chicken)... More
