Good N Plenty is a Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish smogsaboard located on Rt 896 between Rt 30 and Rt 340. It's family-style dining, meaning groups of 12 people are seated at long tables and plates are passed around. The rooms are huge, with one of them seating at least 400 so don't expect any fancy atmosphere. The food was decent and the... more

My husband and I were in Lancaster for the day and decided to eat at Good ‘N Plenty. The 3 meats that are being served were displayed where you paid ($18 per adult, tip not included) so that can help you in making your decision. It is all you can eat and served family style, so there’s no getting up... more

I saw the billboard signs and thought to give it a try. Bad choice! It was the worst food I have ever had for $18 (tip not included). Starter, it is NOT Amish cooking. I live here so I know what Amish cooking is. For the main course, we were served fried chickens (worse than KFC) and baked fish (dried... more

We ate there twice--as a family of five--during a visit to Pennsylvania Dutch. It cost us about $65 each night, but it was certainly worth the price. We had food far better than the usual burger/grilled cheese fare kids get while traveling. Something amazing happens to your children as well--after a tiring day, they will not annoy each other at... more

We have been to "Family Style" places before, but, never eating from the same dishes! First, it is expensive ($19.00 pp) for a meal that you dont get to choose what to have! They sat us (2 adults & 3 kids) with another younger family and an elderly couple. OK, but I am not one to make conversation with someone... more

We thought it would be fun to try an Amish restaurant while in the area and the information at the visitors center lead us to chose this one. Bad choice. It wasn't cheap $18.00 each as I recall. We were lead into a large hall filled with long tables that seated about 10 each. Plastic red checkered tablecloths. We were... more

We recently visited Lancaster PA and, while visiting the outlets, decided to get some dinner. We saw a sign for Good N Plenty so decided to check it out. We walked into a nicely furnished Amish-style building and paid $18 per person for our meal tickets. We were directed to the Dutch room and were seated at a twelve person... more

This place is great-all you can eat comfort food. Had never eaten Amish-style food before, but I had high expectations because I heard they were great cooks. This place lived up to the hype. The best fried chicken I've ever had (and I'm from the South!)-crispy and perfectly seasoned. Creamy whipped potatoes, corn, green beans, buttered noodles, ham, and meatloaf.... more
