My husband and I have been to The Left Bank multiple times over the past few years. The food and service are always top-notch, and it is clearly one of the best restaurants in the York area. The creativity and presentation of the food are outstanding. However, avoid this restaurant on Valentine's Day if you're looking for a romantic evening.... more

Rather stumbled upon this place this evening and was pleasantly surprised to say the least! Wonder food and ambience, wonderful wine, wonderful everything including an an an olive tapenade/olive oil/ balsamic vinegar plate to go with hot, crusty bread. Too, the walls are lined with books and posters to provide a wonderful ambience to this little place -- don't miss! more
