Barcellos Family Restaurant isn't that impressive from the outside...and the decor isn't that great inside either. Except for a few touches...a fireplace, some interesting Portuguese ceramics, the interior walls are barren and the place has the feel of a church basement. They make up for it where it counts! So for valentines day my girlfriend and I got a reservation at this restaurant for 8 P.M. We arrive there with no greeter so theres no way for them to even know youve got the reservation and we were waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come over to ask us how many. I've been going to Barcellos to eat for over 20 years. The food is Portuguese and American. Everything is fresh and taste delicious. I can honestly say I haven't tasted anything I haven't like yet. The bar on the other side of the restaurant is friendly and a social environment. The service I have received is always with a smile.... more
