Went with my husband a couple of months ago after having read a pretty favorable article. I like the atmosphere but felt "unloved" after we were seated. My fish was so salty that it was virtually inedible. Food was cold. Thanks to Fig I'll be cooking a lot more at home AND I'll be more skeptical of newspaper reviews!. more

By far the most imaginative and consistently excellent local place to eat in Charleston. The insistence on supporting local sources for ingredients only makes the food tastes that much fresher. Not inexpensive, but certainly a better value than many of the high-dollar places that prey on tourists. more
