Food was very good from a variety of offerings. The PEI moules were excellent considering their journey and charcuterie was very good and almost excessive in quantity. My plate didnot contain fois gras and was well presented The salmon with mushroom and spinach crepe and asparagus exceeded by far most entrees of salmon - it was prepared to prefection The... more
My husband and I enjoyed dinner at Slightly North of Broad, but weren't thrilled about the inconsistent service. Our filet of beef and soft shell crab meals were yummy, as was the dessert of strawberry shortcake, but I could have used more frequent beverage refills. We ate out at Magnolia's, 82 Queen, SNOB, and Poogan's Porch while in town, and... more
My wife and I had dinner at SNOB tonight and had a great time. The atmosphere and food were excellent. Recommend calling for reservations. more
this was our best meal in charleston. the menu was so interesting with so many great choices. they even allow you to "customize" you portion size. the price was very reasonable especially compared to n.y. or philly prices. the service was terrific- real southern charm and hospitality. don't miss s.n.o.b. more

Several "native" Charleston... more
I must thank all the other reviewers for sending me to S.N.O.B. It was an absolutely wonderful experience! We didn't have reservations so were seated at the "chef's table" which is a fancy name for the counter. It was great! But the best part was the food, which was incredible. This was a truly memorable meal! more
The shrimp and grits were to die for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Charleston. more
A comfy, upscale restaurant on East Bay, my wife, inlaws, and I ate here for dinner and loved it. I had the Maverick Shrimp and Grits - a spicier interpretation on classic low country shrimp and grits, with ham and homemade sausage. A bit spicier than I expected, but the meal was fantastic! more
