I've made it a point to come here each time I've been in Charleston. Each time, I've been impressed. They have a wide variety of fresh seafood, including a daily catch. The grilled filet and Monterrey chicken were excellent as well. I would highly recommend. more

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a pleasant surprise once you enter. The local grouper cooked on the oak grill had a great flavor. The vegetables and potatoes was also very good. The location has a lot of character and there is some great seating outside but protected from the rain. more

Coast Seafood was recommended to us at our hotel. We were looking for a place that specialized in seafood - not steak, not "southern cooking" - just seafood. We were very pleased with this place. My wife and I spent a great evening at the Coast, where we had several wonderful seafood dishes. Persons wishing to enjoy a quiet dining experience at the Coast should consider being seated in the alley. The interior dining is a bit loud. more
