We had a wonderful meal--great house salad and grouper sandwich. Also loved the sweet potato fries. The waitress suggested honey mustard on the side and it really worked! We look forward to going back and bringing more people! more

I made a reservation for Saturday night in a private area of the restaurant with dessert, which was to be a birthday surprise and was confirmed. We had an excellent meal there last night. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the salmon special excellent. The service was very good....and we were extremely impressed with the wide selection on the menu and the number of specials available. more

I was amazed at the poor value of the meals here. My dinner (shrimp cocktail, salad and salmon) had smallish portions, was nothing special (small shrimp, romaine lettuce, farm-raised salmon), and was quite overpriced. Service was good, however. more

Readers should note that neither of the other two reviews currently listed is about this restaurant. Stax Peppermill is another restaurant entirely , although part of the Stax chain. I have dined here at least 30 times over the years, and for a mid-priced restaurant they do a very good job at the basics of just about everything. Steak, seafood,... more
