This is a MUST when in Hilton Head. We called on a Saturday afternoon for reservations that night and they were very accomodating. Went to the Old Fort Pub for dinner last night with two other couples. While the food was good (especially the She Crab Soup) there were a few server problems. They mix up the appetizers while serving them and what I think is a most serious serving blunder on their part - presenting and then taking back the complimentary starters... more

We made a reservation here for our "adults night out." It has great views and a very relaxing atmosphere. Just know that when driving here that you have to go through a guarded gate to get to the place. We were not told this so we kept turning around thinking we had passed the Pub. The sun setting over Skull Creek, framed by Spanish moss-draped oaks, is almost enough to bring tears to your eyes. Fine food, good wine selection, great service, and an outstanding view of the sunset over the water. Need I say more? If you have special dietary requirements, tell the staff and the chef will accomodate you. Make sure to leave room for dessert.
