Very happy that we tried LPG on our current trip! Our decision to go was based on the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Low Country Pimento Cheese Fritters were excellent, and very unique. My husband had the crab cakes w/ whipped sweet potatoes and asparagus and was very impressed w/ the crab cakes. I had the Charleston "Cuban" sandwich and... more

Went to LPG based on trip advisor comments and we weren't disappointed. You can't go wrong with their 1/2 price wine bottle special!! Their special soup was a tomato based broth with tortellini, roasted chicken and italian sausage and it was great. Entees were the Southwestern ravioli with scallops and shrimp and the Scallops with bacon, spinach, and mashed potatoes.... more

We finally got around to trying out the Long Point Grill on our visit to the Charleston area last week, and we weren't disappointed. We have tried all the sister restaurants and believe the LPG to be a step above. One problem we encounted here, as well as at Settee, Mustard Seed, and Boulevard Diner is the noise level. It... more

Heard about this place (and the others in the family) from someone that lives here and I must say, it was definitely worth the visit! Although the atmosphere wasn't the greatest, I went there to eat dinner, not to look at the walls. The food was spectacular, and I look forward to going back and also trying the other sister... more

Definitely worth going for dinner. Read other reviews on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. We'll go back again. Service was very good. Six people ate six different dishes and all were very good to excellent. The Cuban sandwich and Pistachio chicken were excellent. The fried chicken dish looked great at the next table. The only negative:... more

Tucked away by the Spa-Wando terminal this place is easy to miss, but definetly worth seeking out. The service was really friendly and the food well priced. I had an amazing duck dish. This place is a winner, I am so happy to have amazing food close by and not have to go downtown for it. more

The good: Value - Items range from $7 to $20 with generous portions Menu - Wide variety, several nightly specials Food - LPG Mac and Cheese is a perennial favorite, several different fish options daily as well as beef(Kobe), chicken, etc Service - Impeccable The not so good: Atmosphere - Cozy, but the relatively small dining room seems to leave... more

Yes, we have been to the owner's other gems - Boulevard Diner, Mustard Seed, Sette - loved them. Heard good things. Went on a Tuesday for dinner - the place was packed - there was a wait. Surprising for a Tuesday! The atmosphere instantly made me feel at home - I don't know why. My husband said it was a... more

I get a lot of information from locals who post on TripAdvisor when I plan a trip. It is so nice to be able to get honest reviews from customers rather than trying to determine "The Best" from advertisements found in tourist brochures, magazines and newspapers. For this reason and as a recent "tourist turned local" in the Charleston, SC... more

This restaurant is the Long Point Grill, or LPG - and the food is very good, and reasonably priced. Great service, fresh presentations and a cozy dining room make this a hidden treasure in Mount Pleasant. It is definitely a "locals" type place. Be sure to try the crab cake tower or she crab soup appy, and my favorite meals:... more
