Villa Romana uses any leftover rolls from the diners table again. We were told they are allowed to dry out and then they are ground up and used for breading on the veal, chicken and any other dish that need breading. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Such a health hazard. Do they also use any of the pasta... more

As the owner of Villa Romana, I feel the need to respond to this review. While I certainly do my best to prepare quality food, I know that not everyone appreciates my cooking. However, when content appears here and elsewhere that is inaccurate, I feel it's my duty to respond. I can assure SouthernLady and anyone else coming to my...

We tried this restaurant based on previous reviews and the evening was a disaster. The atmosphere was non-existant, except for a very pretty Christmas tree. The meal started with a soggy bruschetta, followed by a "wedding soup" that would cause one to consider divorce. A small salad followed that was quite good, as was the bread. The veal dishes that... more

We decided to eat Italian when we were in Myrtle Beach. I had read great reviews on this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Their Christmas Tree had just been put up and it was beautiful. Our waitress was very helpful in suggesting entrees and what we picked out was fabulous. After our meal, we were too full for a dessert... more

While we were vacationing at Myrtle Beach I went on Trip Advisor and found Villa Romana. We went and ate dinner there and had some of the best food on our whole trip. The service was impecable and the food was the best I've ever had. Even the seafood was awesome for a Italian Resturant. Try the Lasgana also a... more

British but we found the decor dated. We had so many complimentary dishes before what we had ordered that we were stuffed when it finally came. Unfortunately we were all a little disappointed. more

If you like great food, terrific wait staff, great music, and beautiful atmosphere, go to the VILLA. We feel like we are in a plaza in Italy with the beautiful fountain, pretty folded napkins, table LINEN and a strolling musician. The food is out of this world and Rinaldo(owner/chef) will cater to your food allergies or special dietary needs. If he has... more

Villa Romana is what you would hope every Italian restaurant strives to be. The atmosphere is light, functional, and super clean. The staff is very professional and knowledgable about everything from the menu to 'what to do' on the Grand Strand. But, even if these things were not so, their food would be reason enough to make your reservation. The... more

Not your typical Italian restaurant. We went back three times it was so good. Menu is creative, food is fresh and delicious, preparation and presentation are flawless. Service and atmosphere are excellent--warm and welcoming. Can't say enough about Villa Romana. more

I generally have a rule that I don't eat Italian food between Trenton NJ and Orlando FL (there are some good Italian restaurants in South Florida). Anyway, a group of golfers wanted Italian food, so we went to Villa Romana. There is one dish you need to order here, the pork osso buco. Other than than, very ordinary Italian food.... more

July 12th we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted a small intimate dinner party with our children, their mates, family members and our best friends. There was no better place than Villa Romana, Myrtle Beach SC. It was the perfect location for a casual three hour dinner that included a wonderful selection of appetizers, salads, main course from... more
