Varied menu, average food, feels like an Indian restaurant but isn't, bit tired but nice staff and good sea front location.

Great food and lovely services highly recommended. Steak sandwich and the hallomi dish well recommended and view of the harbour tops off a lovely place.

I ordered Mussels as I just love them and yes they were lovely as was the sauce with lashings of garlic. The strange part was the chips (not crusty bread) and cherizo which was chunky, chewy and did not compliment the mussels in my opinion. My partner had steak pie which was a small portion for the cost and his... More

Very good quality food and pleasant service , good to see local produce being promoted. Recommend the steak sandwich washed down with a an Arran brewed beer!

I was not excited about the food, even less so about the service. Even though the restaurant was far from full on a Saturday night the staff seemed to be under stress. Fairly long wait before orders were taken, no smiles, only mechanical questions about how the food was, no attention to whether I wanted perhaps some more bread, another... More

Had our evening meal here one night - we both chose the steak and ale pie, but disappointed as only one 'pie topping', so rather than just have 'stew' chose another option. Although not unfriendly, not as welcoming as other places I've visited

In poor weather we were pleased to be inside this fairly modern restaurant on the seafront at Brodick. It was wonderful to be somewhere that did not play piped music. Tables are well spaced, décor a bit dated and in purples and greens. Service was pleasant and efficient. We only wanted a light lunch and had very nice freshly made... More

Could not fault the staff that were on duty, busy bank holiday weekend and they were rushed off their feet but to be fair nothing was too much bother for them, it was the food that let the place down Frozen chips!! Extremely mediocre burger and a 'Home smoked chicken sandwich' which was just a chicken sandwich on brown bread... More

I would have rated this excellent as the food was excellent as was the service but the decor & curb appeal could benefit from some updating, though you could say it's charming. Having just spent 2 nights on Arran we ended up eating there both nights. Homemade soup was excellent, steaks were cooked to perfection and the house red wine... More
