Finding a place to eat was difficult so on Wednesday afternoon we spotted JJ's on the way back to our cottage so popped in to book for Thursday evening. The rather plump but friendly lady/owner said... More

I do remember you, well having being told about you from staff & customers, you came in dripping wet, blocked the fire exit & toilets, never bought anything, not even a cup of coffee, and as you say if our food & bistro is so bad, how do you know when you never even tried anything, false accusations are very... We came across JJ's Bistro quite by chance when visiting Skye on holiday. We were staying at a nearby location and were looking for something 'we could eat'! It was a home from home in every sense of the word and the chat was great. The food is cooked with the best of ingredients - all local and organic. We... More

once again i visited JJ's bistro, the menu has changed, and so has the decor, the owners are not afraid to make changes here, not like other restaurants i have visited where the colour scheme hasn't changed in 15 years... yes the menu is large, which had initially worried me, but i can definitely say that all of the dishes... To say JJs has everything for any occasion be it a none fussy meal... More

One thing is excellent here, the view from the window is amazing - in clear weather. Unfortunately, as a restaurant JJ's isn't so good. The menu is enormous, which is rarely a good sign, and they can't decide what they want to be. Part tea shop, part local fish, part international cuisine served on cramped tables in what could be...
